Dog Warden Contact details
The Dog Warden telephone number to report a FOUND/SIGHTED/LOST dog : 01527 881395 - this service is provided by the Worcestershire WHUB
The OUT OF HOURS telephone number for the Dog Warden for Wyre Forest District Council Area : 01562 850053. This service is provided by an outside contractor who will pass on details to the Dog Warden.
DOG IDENTIFICATION TAGS : Make sure your dog's tag is up to date and that it has your mobile and landline number on it. Also, make sure the tag is actually still on the collar. Someone who finds a dog cannot read the microchip so tags are still vital. My dogs also wear DogTrac tags - see www.dogtrac.com for details.
IF YOU LOSE YOUR DOG - STAY WHERE YOU LAST SAW THE DOG. Get reinforcements to help search the area but someone must stay put at the last sighting. DO NOT call the dog loudly - his name coming from different directions will confuse the dog and their default position when confused is to stay where they are and not move. Call the dog so your voice carries only 200 yards or so either side of where you are walking. Inform DogLost and Animal Search UK , the Dog Warden and post details on Facebook. The more people who know, the more likely it is you will find your dog.

DOG WALKING SERVICE - THE DOG CHARMER 078 999 84 666
If I am unable to help you or you are "off my patch" then I have great contacts elsewhere in the wider area and will normally be able to recommend someone.

Ros Smith, Canine & Equine Physiotherapist on 07792 966636 and Steffen at Vale Vets for acupuncture (01299 822423) help keep Doodle on his feet and mobile. Doodle absolutely adores both treatments and this is a very wise dog so I trust his judgement !
Linda at Aclipz Dog Grooming situated in Franche is Hector's groomer and therefore my personal recommendation. Linda can be reached on 01562 740738 or 07949 330361
BROMYARD KENNELS - 01885 483486
220 acres of countryside for the dogs plus indoor kennels and individual runs (as usually provided by kennels) plus 2 paddocks for the less "robust" dogs in their care. This is the only boarding kennels I recommend as I use it for my dogs. I have never found anything else to equal it for my dogs. They do have restrictions on breed types that they take. If you look at other kennels then I suggest you ask the following questions : Where exactly are the dogs exercised, do they have off lead play time, how many times a day are they exercised, what time is their last walk of the day. You may be shocked by the answers I'm sorry to say. 2016 Summer Update : The kennels are at near capacity so get booked in quickly or your dog may miss out.
